Step 1: Open Reports
Location: /vendor/reports
Capture: Report tabs + date range selector + export button
Open Reports. At the top, pick your date range:
- Today / This week / This month
- Or a custom window
Ten tabs below — one report each.
Step 2: Profit & Loss (P&L)
Location: /vendor/reports → Profit & Loss
Capture: Revenue + COGS + expenses + net profit
This is the report that matters most. It shows:
- Total sales — what came in
- Cost of goods — what you paid for stock
- Expenses — rent, utilities, salaries
- Actual profit — what’s left
Look at this every month-end. No exceptions.
Step 3: Cash Flow
Location: /vendor/reports → Cash Flow
Capture: Inflows + outflows + closing balance
Where money came in, where it went — day by day:
- Cash sales
- Customer payments
- Purchases
- Expenses
Closing balance — how much cash you’re holding right now.
Step 4: Ledgers
Location: /vendor/reports → Customer Ledger
Capture: Customer list + outstanding balance
Customer ledger — who owes you what Supplier ledger — who you owe what
Click any name → full account → export as PDF or send via WhatsApp.
Step 5: Stock & Products
Location: /vendor/reports → Stock
Capture: Stock value + low-stock alerts + category breakdown
- Stock report — what’s sitting in your inventory, valued
- Product report — what’s moving fast, what’s gathering dust
- Low-stock alerts — what needs restocking
Profit per product — which items are actually making you money.
Step 6: PDF Export
Location: Any report → Export PDF

- Give to your bank

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I generate a profit and loss report with software in Pakistan?
In BMS, open Reports → Profit & Loss tab. Choose the date range (today / this month / this year / custom). The system calculates sales, COGS, expenses, and net profit automatically. The PDF is one click away — send it to your bank or accountant.
A report shows the wrong number — what now?
Check the source data — sales, purchases, expenses. Reports rebuild themselves live.
Can I see multi-branch reports?

How often does report data refresh?
Instantly — the moment a sale, purchase, or payment is recorded, reports update.
Can the PDF be in Urdu?
Yes — in Urdu mode, the PDF generates in Urdu (RTL) too.
