Collect Installment Payments

First of the month — and you can’t remember who owes what. No more remembering. The system tells you. You just collect.

Step 1: See Today’s Collection

📸 [SCREENSHOT 8.1: Collection Page]
Location: /vendor/installments/collection
Capture: Today's collection grid + total expected

Open Installments → Collection. The system shows:

  • Today’s installments — who owes what, right now
  • Overdue — past-due installments still unpaid
  • Upcoming — the next few days

Each entry shows: customer name, phone, amount, and a one-tap WhatsApp reminder.

Step 2: Pick the Customer

Location: /vendor/installments/collection → Grid
Capture: Customer cards with due amount + "Record Payment" button

Every card has a Record Payment button — tap it.

Or — in list view, one after another, collect fast.

Step 3: Enter the Payment

Location: Collection → Payment
Capture: Amount + method + receipt upload + notes
Field Why it matters
Amount Full installment, or partial
Method Cash / JazzCash / EasyPaisa / Bank
Receipt Photo (for bank transfers)

Partial payment? — enter what came in. The rest rolls into the next installment.

Step 4: Send a WhatsApp Reminder

📸 [SCREENSHOT 8.4: WhatsApp Reminder]
Location: Collection → Customer Card → WhatsApp
Capture: WhatsApp icon + pre-filled message

Each card has a WhatsApp icon — tap it. The message auto-writes itself:

“Salaam, your next installment of [amount] is due on [date]. Thank you — [Business name]”

Click Send. Done.

Step 5: Handle Overdue

📸 [SCREENSHOT 8.5: Overdue Section]
Location: Collection → Overdue Tab

Overdue customers are highlighted in red. Days past, no payment?

  • Remind — WhatsApp message
  • Call — phone number one tap away
  • Reach the guarantor — if it drags on
  • Mark defaulted — the last resort

Frequently Asked Questions

The customer isn't answering their phone — now what?

Contact the guarantor — their number is in the agreement. If it drags, mark the agreement Defaulted.
